Live Life or Stay Alive

Let’s start with the well known analogy, we live to die and die to live, if we break it down into sections, its just the mere truth in the simplest term possible.

We are born to live, which means live through life until the end point, it’s a race where you  decide to run, walk or remain stagnant at the starting line. Because at the end point we all die and obviously there isn’t a winner in Death.

You can’t afford to remain stagnant, some say life is to short, well some might live till a pretty old age, but regardless in that duration we have to paint our life with excitement, something worth living for.

When you are young, you are meant to live young and be able to say when I was young, and when you at a family age, you are still meant to create excitement for your family, so in a nutshell excitement continues till we are stuck to the chair like a frozen turkey and can’t move.
But, I approach life with the mentality of, no one is really old, we are as old as we think we are. Things we have to realise is that yesterday can’t be relived, we can only picture yesterday in our memory. At least I want to be able to picture what I can smile about.
More so, you can’t afford to live a monotonous lifestyle, if you find yourself in a situation where by your  zeal of motivation is gone and you are getting ridiculously bored, I would advice not to  be too scared in trying something new.
A dull stagnant life only accumulates frustration, it only taint our smile with moodiness, I am not suggesting you live like a complete arsehole but at least have a bucket list of different things to try out even if it is once in Two months which is 6 exciting things in a year, that is not bad.

If we think about it for people working for instance in a 9-5 job,end up spending   80 percent  of their lives at work, so you have only 20 percent to yourself to live life, come on, will you just be treating your self with work and work, no you will need to enjoy that hard work you have invested with time in your own free time.

You don’t want to go home Friday evening after work  to sleep throughout a weekend and wake up on Monday morning having really done nothing  and repeat the same thing till the year runs out, that will be a pretty boring life. Come on do something different, live bright, live life not just stay alive, occupy it with something interesting.

  1. Okay. I will keep this in mind… you are right. I have gotten comfortable doing absolutely nothing on the weekends but that means that I am doing absolutely nothing but work…Thnaks for the inspiration.
